Spinach

Originating over 1000 years ago in Asia, spinach offers many nutritional values. The health issues and government recalls on spinach had nothing to do with the species, but more importantly, cultural practices. Spinach should be part of every family’s diet, as it's delicious either fresh in salads or cooked. Organic and untreated spinach seeds are available.
